Don't settle for being good; equip yourself to be great as an athlete.
Challenges are always going to present themselves in your quest for athletic greatness. Challenges are important because they make you step out of your comfort zone, and help you overcome failure as you rise out of the ashes for the next challenge.
Settling for mediocre performance and being complacent can often prevent you from accomplishing something amazing. Seize opportunities; don't let them slip through your hands. Be diligent in your quest for athletic greatness, and keep in mind that hard work will pay dividends.
To quote the great John Wooden (The Wizard of Westwood): "Make every day a masterpiece." In regards to training, I want to add to this quote: "Make every Training day a masterpiece."
